Holmak HeatX acquires Klingenburg production assets

Netherlands-based Holmak HeatX has acquired the production assets for the manufacturing of counterflow heat exchangers from Klingenburg GmbH.

In future, Klingenburg will focus on manufacturing rotary heat exchangers in Gladbeck, Germany.

With this takeover, Holmak is adding the entire range of aluminium and plastic counterflow heat exchangers previously supplied by Klingenburg to its product portfolio.

This transaction will increase the production capacity of Holmak production plants by 50 per cent. The first facilities will begin operation at Holmak locations within the third quarter of 2019.

Holmak HeatX is the expert in the field of air-to-air heat exchangers. The Netherlands company develops and produces technologies and products that are based on the counterflow principle which is highly efficient.

Due to the specialisation and the use of state-of-the-art machines, Holmak HeatX has achieved over the past few years a level of quality that is appreciated by international customers and set new standards.

Holmak was established in 2007 and has production facilities in the Netherlands and Macedonia.

The company is part of the CENTROTEC Group which has about 3,500 employees and representatives in more than 65 countries around the world.
