Liberty wins £1.5M contracts for Wrexham and Shropshire homes

Liberty has secured contracts worth GBP 1.5 million to deliver heating, renewable energy, and hot water services in Wrexham and Shropshire.

In Wrexham, Liberty will maintain systems in 168 council homes under a ten-year contract, with the option to extend for an additional six years. As part of a four-year Community Investment Plan with the council, Liberty will provide social value initiatives, including employment support through careers advice, mock interviews, two annual work placements, GBP 500 worth of materials for community projects, and free decarbonisation surveys valued at GBP 2,500. Additionally, Liberty has retained its boiler installation and replacement contract with Wrexham County Borough Council for a fifth consecutive year, upgrading 300 homes by March 2026 in a contract worth over GBP 630,000.

In Shropshire, Liberty will continue delivering heating services to 4,000 STAR Housing homes under a five-year contract valued at GBP 1.2 million per year.
