Kapp, a specialist in heat transfer, has announced that as of 11 February 2026, 90% of the company has been acquired by Addtech. The partnership provides Kapp with a strong, long-term owner and opens new opportunities for growth and innovation in the Netherlands and internationally.
Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Dordrecht, Kapp has built a leading position in heat transfer over nearly three decades. Under the leadership of founder Tjark de Lange, the company has become known for its deep technical expertise, customized solutions, and reliable delivery from concept to realization across a wide range of industries.
The acquisition aligns closely with Kapp’s ambition to further strengthen its market position, innovation capabilities, and customer value. Addtech focuses on developing independent companies with a strong entrepreneurial culture and a commitment to efficiency, innovation, and sustainable technologies.
“With Addtech, we have found a partner that shares our vision and allows us to grow as an independent company,” says de Lange. “Together, we can seize new opportunities and create even more value for our customers, partners, and employees.”
Addtech also sees Kapp as a strategic addition. “Kapp’s technology drives energy efficiency and sustainability,” says John Åge Lazar, Business Unit Manager at Addtech Process – Emission Control.
Kapp will continue to operate under its own name, led by managing director Jeroen van Ruitenbeek, ensuring continuity for customers and partners while benefiting from Addtech’s international expertise.
