Danfoss launches B3-260C brazed plate heat exchanger

Danfoss’ new B3-260C brazed plate heat exchanger is engineered for maximum efficiency, enabling data centers to operate their cooling distribution units (CDU) with minimal energy loss while meeting uptime requirements.

Featuring a symmetric plate design and advanced fishbone pattern, the B3-260C achieves outstanding heat transfer efficiency while maintaining minimal pressure drop, ensuring peak performance. Optimized for single-phase operation with a parallel-flow configuration, the new exchanger provides precise temperature control and supports improved Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), helping operators meet growing demands for sustainable and energy-efficient cooling.

With capacities up to 1 MW and optimized for very low Log Mean Temperature Difference (LMTD) applications (~2 K), the B3-260C marks a major step forward in efficient and reliable thermal management for data centers.

Key features and benefits include high heat transfer efficiency, low pressure drop, and compact footprint.
