Brightcore constructs a geothermal project at Bard

Brightcore Energy has initiated the construction of an advanced geothermal heating and cooling project at Bard College.

Acting as the comprehensive provider, Brightcore is overseeing all aspects of the project, including feasibility assessment, design, drilling, ground loop installation, mechanical connections, incentive procurement, and ongoing system performance monitoring.

The implementation of the geothermal heating and cooling system aligns with Bard College’s sustainability-focused mission. Through its Office of Sustainability, the College has set a goal to achieve carbon-neutrality by 2035 and has already made substantial progress toward this objective. This project highlights the increasing trend among educational institutions nationwide to reduce their carbon footprint and environmental impact by optimizing energy usage and upgrading outdated infrastructure.
