Caverion delivers pipeline project to Tampereen Energia

Caverion will implement a pipeline project for the new heat recovery plant at the Naistenlahti 3 biopower plant in Tampere, Finland. The project will commence in February, and it will be handed over to Tampereen Energia in October. The contract value is more than EUR 3M.

The delivery includes the pipelines, equipment installations, pipe bridge and other steel structure installations of the heat recovery plant.

Tampereen Energia is building a new heat recovery plant at the northern end of the Naistenlahti 3 power plant plot. The future plant building will further cool down the flue gases of the power plant. The heat thus obtained is recovered into district heating water using heat pump technology. The investment will significantly improve the efficiency of the power plant.
