Conflux Technology collaborates with Pagani

Conflux Technology, a major heat transfer and additive manufacturing (AM) company, has announced its collaboration with hypercar manufacturer Pagani to increase transmission heat rejection.

Pagani’s latest hypercar, the Pagani Utopia, is a showcase of engineering excellence and driver-centric design. Powered by the Pagani V12, it pairs with a custom Xtrac seven-speed transmission, that is available in either automated or manual form. This powertrain combination provides unparalleled control and responsiveness while meeting the stringent emissions standards globally, including California.

The extreme power and flexibility of the Utopia demanded advanced thermal management solutions, particularly for its transmission oil domain. To meet this challenge, Pagani developed a custom heat exchanger with Conflux that leveraged cutting-edge additive manufacturing technology. Conflux achieved a remarkable 30% increase in heat rejection compared to the previous solution, ensuring optimal thermal performance even under the most demanding conditions.

The Utopia’s transmission underwent rigorous testing, from track and road validation to thermal shock trials, proving its resilience and capability to support the hypercar’s unparalleled performance.

This collaboration with Pagani strengthens Conflux’s position in the hypercar industry, showcasing its ability to deliver cutting-edge thermal solutions while advancing sustainability goals.
