LG signs MOU with SK Enmove and GRC for AI data center cooling

LG Electronics has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SK Enmove and Green Revolution Cooling (GRC) to jointly develop liquid immersion cooling solutions for artificial intelligence data centers (AIDCs).

The partnership will focus on exploring business opportunities, conducting joint marketing initiatives, and implementing proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations to advance integrated cooling systems and innovative business models. The collaboration aims to meet growing energy demands and sustainability challenges in AI-driven data centers.

Under the agreement, LG will lead the integration of data center cooling systems, supplying key components such as coolant distribution units (CDUs), facility water units (FWUs), and chillers. SK Enmove will provide immersion cooling fluids, leveraging its expertise in thermal management and its equity partnership with GRC.
