Italian heat exchanger manufacturer Lu-Ve has officially opened the extended facilities at its Chinese production plant in Tianmen.
The expansion from 19,000m2 to over 43,000m2, with 6,640m2 dedicated to the storage of finished products, is geared towards the production of cooling systems for data centres and power generation sectors.
The move will allow the Lu-Ve Group to benefit from the Chinese government programme For China from China, which aims to incentivise the production and domestic consumption of high-quality products, including a plan to expand the cold chain worth EUR80bn in investments by the end of 2028. It was also supported by the Municipality of Tianmen and the authorities of the Tianmen Economic Development Zone, with Lu-Ve benefiting from tax relief, staff training incentives and subsidies on energy costs and leasing.
The facility was designed to manufacture ventilated components primarily for commercial and industrial refrigeration, in addition to other ventilated products. Due to its large size, the site has the capacity to accommodate future expansions for a broader range of Lu-Ve Group products.
