Persian Gulf Star Oil Company announced a 3 million-liter increase in gasoline production capacity at the world’s major gas condensate refinery. The expansion follows major overhauls in the Phase 2 gasoline production unit and the installation of a new heat exchanger, set for completion in the Iranian calendar year 1404 (2025-26).
A new investment was made in the Phase 2 gasoline unit to boost production capacity. The project involved replacing the heat exchanger, with groundwork, modifications, preventive maintenance, and repairs carried out by skilled young engineers.
The large-scale heat exchanger replacement improved quality, increased octane ratings, and raised the refinery’s daily gasoline production capacity to 45 million liters.
The upgrades also focused on environmental compliance, efficiency improvements, and adherence to safety standards.
