SPX FLOW expands UHT testing access across the Americas

SPX FLOW, Inc. is expanding access to advanced Ultra High Temperature (UHT) testing across the Americas through its new pilot plant partnerships in southern California and Quebec, Canada. These sites offer food and beverage producers hands-on access to APV modular UHT systems. Until now, UHT testing had primarily been conducted in SPX FLOW’s Innovation Centers across Europe and the Middle East.

Strategically located to serve United States, Canadian and Latin American brands, these facilities support multiple heat treatment methods, including direct steam infusion, steam injection, tubular and plate heat exchangers, with flexible holding times to suit diverse product needs. Customers will also benefit from the company’s complete support services, including trial planning, data analysis and scale-up consultation after testing.

From dairy and plant-based drinks to sauces and clinical nutrition, UHT technology plays a vital role in delivering shelf stability, safety and product quality. These new facilities enable manufacturers to: (i) Test real formulations and ingredients in small-scale production; (ii) Compare a range of APV technologies: infusion, injection, tubular and plate thermal treatments; and (iii) Validate performance in flavour, texture, shelf life and nutrient retention.
