Kaltra expands production capacity at its S-1 plant

Responding to the increase in demand for microchannel heat exchangers for HVAC applications, Kaltra expands production capacity at its S-1 plant by installing the additional automatic core builders, fin rolling machines, and helium leak detection systems. This significant injection allows Kaltra to increase the annual production of microchannel coils by 20%. 
The production expansion underlines Kaltra’s clear commitment to continuously support the growth of its European customers. For years, Kaltra continuously investing in manufacturing technologies at the S-1 site, with special emphasis on process efficiency and product quality. The capacities for microchannel heat exchangers have been expanded in the past two years, with an increase in production volume totaling 50%.
At present, Kaltra’s factory operates two controlled atmosphere brazing furnaces, one for heat exchangers of the width of up to 1800mm, while the second suited for widths of up to 1400mm, 4 automatic assembling lines, and 12 semi-automatic assembling lines, and 4 helium leak detection units.
