Lummus Technology has secured a significant contract from Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd. to supply eight Short Residence Time (SRT®) ethylene cracking heaters for SATORP’s Amiral petrochemical complex in Saudi Arabia. The contract underscores Lummus’ commitment to delivering high reliability, long run lengths, and enhanced on-stream factors with its proprietary heaters. These features, combined with Lummus’ best-in-class technologies, are poised to enhance and optimize SATORP’s operations for the long term.
Operated by SATORP, a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and TotalEnergies, the Amiral complex has licensed multiple Lummus technologies, including ethylene, refinery off-gas recovery and treating, pygas hydrotreating, and various extraction technologies.
