APROVIS supplies exhaust gas heat exchangers in Europe

APROVIS has supplied six exhaust gas heat exchangers and three SCR systems for a 28 MW gas power plant in Eastern Europe, operated with three gas engines of 9.4 MWel each.
The exhaust gas heat exchangers, one high-temperature- and one low-temperature-stage per engine, are used to generate hot water for the regional district heating network and supply a total thermal capacity of 14 MW. The three catalytic converters are reducing exhaust gas emissions to meet the strict local emission regulations regarding NOx and CO.
Despite the challenges due to COVID19, the project was finished in time in close cooperation with the customer. After commissioning by the APROVIS service technicians the performance test of the plant was successfully completed and the plant was handed over to the end customer.
