APROVIS supplies steam generator for a CHP unit

APROVIS supplied a steam generator and an exhaust gas heat exchanger for a CHP unit of an Alsatian juice producer with a 4.5 MW engine. The steam generator with economizer, which is heated with the exhaust gas from the engine, produces over 2 t/h of saturated steam at 9 barü.
Furthermore, the downstream exhaust gas heat exchanger cools the exhaust gas even further and produces hot water. This both increases the overall efficiency of heat utilization and reduces CO2 emissions.
The total thermal capacity of the exhaust gas utilization is 1.9 MW, with more than 1.4 MW being accounted for by the steam generator and economizer.
